Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about our marine canvas.

Everything you need to know about our marine canvas fabrication and repair services. Every cover we make is custom-measured for a snug fit using premium materials.

Custom fabrication & design

Built for your boat

Do you offer fully custom designs?

Yes. Every cover is custom-measured and built for your boat, from a single seat cover to a full enclosure.

What canvas do you fabricate?

We specialize in custom marine canvas, including:

  • Full & cockpit covers: total weather protection.
  • Biminis & T-tops: UV protection and shade.
  • Enclosures: with Strataglass or roll-clear panels.
  • Seat covers: moisture and sun protection for upholstery.
How long does fabrication take?

Generally, simple projects take 1–2 weeks. However, full enclosures may require 3–6 weeks.

What materials do you use?

We use only premium marine-grade materials like Sunbrella. Consequently, your cover is built for durability and long-lasting protection. In addition, our materials are chosen to withstand harsh environments, including saltwater and UV exposure.

Can I choose the color and material?

Yes. You choose from the Sunbrella marine color line, and we’ll help you match your boat’s existing canvas or trim.

Are there add-ons I can request?

Yes. Popular custom add-ons include:

  • Reinforced straps or handles: added durability and easy handling.
  • Vents: better airflow and less moisture buildup.
  • Clear or tinted windows: visibility and style in enclosures or covers.
  • Custom patterns or color schemes: make it yours.

Ask about any other features you need and we’ll do our best to make it happen.

Repairs & adjustments

Fix it before you replace it

Do you offer repair services?

Yes. We restore and extend the life of your marine fabric, including:

  • Zipper and snap replacement
  • Clear panel repairs (Strataglass)
  • Tear patching and reinforcement
How much do repairs cost?

Every repair is quoted individually based on the extent of the work. To get started, send us photos and a few details about the damage, and we’ll find the best solution at a fair price.

Can you adjust my existing cover?

Yes. In many cases we can modify or retrofit your current cover. Feasibility depends on the condition and material of your fabric. Common modifications include:

  • Adjusting the fit for a more secure, protective shape.
  • Adding windows or vents for visibility and airflow.
  • Reinforcing weak areas to extend the cover’s life.
Can you clean my cover for me?

We don’t currently offer cover cleaning, but we’re happy to point you to the right DIY approach:

  • Mild soap and warm water to remove dirt and mildew. Skip harsh chemicals that can damage fabric.
  • Marine-grade fabric cleaner for tougher stains.
  • A soft brush or cloth to scrub gently without damaging the fabric.
